Moldova Adoption

This program is: open
After closing in 2001, the Moldova adoption program has reopened; however, according to a U.S. State Department advisory, no U.S. agencies have been accredited to work in Moldova at this time.
In 2003, U.S. citizens adopted approximately 12 children from Moldova. Children available for adoption include boys and girls, ages 1-8 years, sibling groups, and children with special needs. These children reside in orphanages.
See other Moldova Adoption Agencies.
Travel required: Two trips, only one parent (if married) must travel; each trip lasts about one week.
Singles accepted: Yes; no unmarried couples.
Other: Visa processing is done in Bucharest, Romania.
